Ordering a shower screen online can feel unfamiliar if you've never done it before — there's glass thickness, surface treatments, tints, frame colours, and more. This guide walks through the entire process step by step, in plain language, so you know exactly what each choice means and what to do next. It should take about five minutes to read, and by the end you'll be ready to configure your own shower screen with confidence.

Step 1: Decide on a shape — sliding or corner

The first decision is simple: does your bathroom have a single flat wall for the shower, or does the shower sit in a corner with two walls? A single-wall bathroom generally needs a sliding shower screen (one or more glass panels that slide sideways). A corner bathroom needs a corner shower enclosure, which wraps around two walls and usually has a fixed panel plus one or more sliding panels. Once you know your shape, browse the model grid on our homepage — it's split into "Single-Wall Shower Screens" and "Corner Shower Enclosures" sections, so you only need to look at the half that matches your bathroom.

Step 2: Pick a specific model and open its configurator

Each model card on the homepage shows a photo, a model code (like A012 or B082), a starting price, and a standard size. Click any model that looks close to what you want — you don't need to find a perfect match yet, since every dimension can be adjusted afterwards. Clicking a model takes you to its own page with more detail, and from there the "Get Instant Quote" button opens the live configurator for that exact model, with your chosen shape and door style already set up.

Step 3: Enter your measurements

Inside the configurator, the first sliders you'll see control width and height (and a second width for corner models). Drag them to match your bathroom opening, or type the exact number if you already know it. Not sure how to measure accurately? As you adjust these sliders, the diagram on screen updates immediately to show roughly what your finished screen will look like, and the price at the bottom updates too.

Step 4: Choose your glass — thickness, surface treatment, and tint

Next come the glass options, grouped under "Finishes & add-ons". Glass surface treatment changes the texture and privacy level — options range from plain clear glass to various frosted and printed finishes. Glass type / tint is a separate choice about the glass's base colour and clarity — standard, ultra-clear, tinted, or coated pattern — covered in our glass tints guide. If you leave both at their default "standard" settings, that's perfectly normal — most customers do, and it's the most economical option. Only change these if you have a specific look in mind.

Step 5: Consider the optional add-ons

A few more options sit below the glass choices. Anti-shatter film is a safety and privacy layer applied to the glass — our anti-shatter film guide explains the benefits and previews how each pattern looks directly on your selected model. Frame colour lets you match or contrast with your bathroom fittings — the diagram updates live as you change it. All of these are optional; skipping them and keeping the defaults gives you a complete, functional shower screen at the lowest price.

Step 6: Review your price breakdown

As you make selections, the "Price breakdown" section on the page lists every option you've added along with its cost, and shows a running "Estimated Price" total. This is a real, itemised quote — not a vague estimate — based on exactly what you've configured. Take a moment to check everything looks right before moving to the final step.

Step 7: Send your quote via WhatsApp

When you're happy with your configuration, scroll to the "Send this quote via WhatsApp" buttons and tap whichever showroom is most convenient for you — Tai Kok Tsui, Tuen Mun, or Fo Tan. This opens WhatsApp with a message already filled in, listing your exact model, size, selected options, and price, so our staff have everything they need the moment you reach out. You can still edit the message before sending, and there's no obligation — this simply starts the conversation. If you'd rather speak to someone first, every page also has call and WhatsApp buttons for general enquiries in the banner at the bottom.
