防爆膜的實際作用

Tempered glass is already a safety glass — but if it does break, it shatters into many small granules that scatter across the floor. Anti-shatter film is a thin, transparent film applied to the entire pane, so that if the glass breaks, the fragments stay stuck to the film instead of scattering. The pane may crack, but it largely stays in one piece long enough for you to safely remove it, rather than showering the floor with glass. It's the same basic principle used in laminated glass, at a fraction of the cost.

Every model in our calculator ships with standard tempered glass and no film by default — anti-shatter film is entirely optional, and you can turn it on or off per order. It's worth considering if you have young children or elderly family members at home, live in a rented or shared property where you want extra reassurance, or simply prefer the added peace of mind for very little extra cost relative to the size of the job.

如何選擇透明、花紋或磨砂款式

Clear film is completely transparent and barely noticeable — it adds the safety benefit without changing the look of your screen at all. Patterned film comes in a range of decorative designs (vine, floral, geometric grid, cloud motifs and more) that add a bit of visual texture while still admitting light — a good middle ground between plain glass and full privacy. Frosted film is a plain, uniform translucent finish that obscures the view through the glass entirely while still letting light through — the usual choice when privacy matters more than seeing through the screen. All three carry the same underlying anti-shatter benefit; the difference is purely how they look.
