Tempered (toughened) glass is regular glass that's been heat-treated to be roughly four to five times stronger than standard glass of the same thickness. It's the standard choice for the vast majority of shower screens — including every model in our range — because it handles daily knocks, water weight, and door-sliding stress well. If tempered glass does break, it shatters into small, relatively blunt granules rather than sharp shards, which is why it's classified as a safety glass.

鋼化玻璃（強化玻璃）是經過熱處理的普通玻璃，強度較同厚度的一般玻璃高出約四至五倍。它是絕大多數浴屏（包括我們所有款式）的標準配置，因為它能承受日常碰撞、水重及趟門移動所帶來的壓力。鋼化玻璃萬一破裂，會碎成細小及較不鋒利的顆粒，而非尖銳碎片，因此被歸類為安全玻璃。

Laminated glass is made of two (or more) sheets of glass bonded together with a clear plastic interlayer (usually PVB) in between. If it breaks, the glass pieces stay stuck to the interlayer instead of falling apart — so the pane stays roughly intact even when cracked. This is the same technology used in car windshields.

夾膠玻璃由兩片（或以上）玻璃透過中間的透明塑膠夾層（一般為PVB）黏合而成。萬一破裂，玻璃碎片會黏附於夾層上而不會散落，因此即使出現裂痕，玻璃仍大致保持完整。這與汽車擋風玻璃採用的技術相同。
